📸 Create DOT
A Dot is your starting point in the DOT App — a visual note you can capture, upload, or record to share ideas quickly and clearly. Whether you’re showing a bug, sharing feedback, or explaining a process, every Dot helps turn visuals into collaboration.
🟢 1. Hover to the bottom of the page
You can create a Dot by taking a quick screenshot directly from your workspace.
Opens the quick capture bar. Make your cursor to the end of the page anytime to capture.
You can also use ALT + S for a quicker way to do it.
🟠3. Click and Drag
Capture content inside a chosen window or component. Great for focusing on one tool or app area. You can also use ALT + C.
💡 Tips
- Each capture automatically becomes a Dot, ready to annotate, organize, and share with your team.
- Use Alt + S for full-page captures — it’s the fastest way to grab everything in view.
- Try Alt + A when you only need to show one specific element or bug.
- After taking a screenshot, add a short caption before you forget the context.
